Starting today developer builds of Zimbra OSS now come in 8 flavors. The newest addition is Mac Intel. I’m sure if you’re like us you’re looking for a way to test that shinny Intel Mac - well, running your own mail server is nice. Plus how cool would it be to have this guy sitting in your data center. The pic below is one of our Mac build servers.

Zimbra had the good fortune to get tapped for Business 2.0’s Next Net 25 and last week had the chance to go hang out with the Business 2.0 gurus—Erick Schonfeld, Om Malik, and Michael Copeland—as well as with most of the our fellow entrepreneurs that made the cut.
While it was a tough group to get to work well together in one room—lots of opinionated talkers and not that many listeners (myself included :-)), with divergent agendas, half of us focused on the consumer and half focused on businesses, the discussion thread I had the most fun with was what will be the next, next big thing.

Zimbra is up for nomination in the Enterprise category for SourceForge.net: 2006 Community Choice Awards. Winners will be announced at the Slashdot Lounge at LinuxWorld Expo, Boston, April 5.
The Zimbra iSync adaptor is now available for private beta for Network Edition customers and Network Trial participants. We’ve made it very simple for Mac user’s to sync their calendar and contact data with Zimbra. There are no additional software packages needed. Zimbra will sync naively with your Apple iCal and Apple Address Book. The Zimbra iSync connector requires Mac OSX 10.4.1 or greater, and is currently certified to run against ZCS 3.0.1 Network Edition.
If you would like to participate in the private beta and are already a Network Edition customer or have been activated in our support system then email your sales rep for access to the beta. If you’d like to trial Zimbra’s Network Edition please register for a trial. NOTE: Anonymous or free mail (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) registrations will not be allowed to participate in the iSync private beta. You must register with an enterprise or corporate email account and complete the entire trial registration to be considered for the private beta.

IBM Today announced that the a first build of the AJAX toolkit framework is available for download. This is a continuation of the Open Ajax Initiative which we announced last month. The Zimbra AjaxTk is a key part of this initiative.
